Strong Irish presence in Interreg NWE approvals
Strong Irish presence in Interreg North West Europe approvals
Ireland has secured funding under 5 of the 8 applications which were approved by the Interreg North West Europe Monitoring Committee at their meeting in Germany on 13-15 September.
There are 7 Irish partners and one Lead Partner involved in the approved projects which will receive 60% of their project costs to roll out activities with their European counterparts under the three Programme Priorities of Innovation, Low Carbon and Resource & Materials Efficiency.
The Programme Secretariat in France will have finalised contracts with the approved projects by mid-November after which full details of partners and budgets will be available.
The Southern Regional Assembly and the Eastern & Midlands Regional Assembly represent the Irish Member State on the NWE Monitoring Committee. The Southern Regional Assembly houses the Programme’s National Contact Point.
For further information on the Programme please contact Siobhan Rudden, National Contact Point, or see the Interreg NWE website
